Pepperoni or Sausage Senator?

Can anyone confirm or deny John McCain's presence in the Pizza Cafe on Monday afternoon. The good people of Arkansas aren't quite sure.

Between this story and the did he/didn't he get shot at above the Republic of Georgia dispute- Senator McCain has had a mysterious week.

Back with some serious news at some point, maybe.

I used to work in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. It's not a big deal to get shot at over there. Hell, our driver got knocked unconscious and robbed. What's the big deal?

Sheesh.

Up until BR's post, Iowa state grads thought we were talking about a state in the American south.

I figured all my detractors would jump on and say I was full of crap. But I actually did do a parliamentary election over there. And our driver did get beat up and robbed (but not by me.)

Food over there is great, but it's kind of a hole.

And hey, I'm an Iowa State grad, so watch it. I've been to Tbilisi. How many Iowa grads on this blog can say that?

I even toured Stalin's museum in Gori, Georgia. Scary place. The old ladies there pretty much give the same tour that they gave in 1950. They snap their pointers when you're not paying attention and it only happens once. He has a death mask there that puts chills down your spine.

You should see the growling tank lamp the maximum leader used to have on his desk. Looks like it's rolling through the gulag over piles of bodies.

I also had my picture taken on his old specially made railroad car. He actually had two made, the other was presented to the father of the little nutjob who starves the people of North Korea. For a while, I felt like invading
Armenia.

But it passed.

We'll forgive you for an error in judgement when you were 18, br...

We'd go out on a limb and say you are the only isu grad on the blog that's made the pilgrimage to tbilisi!

Great stories br.

Boy, no one seems to discuss the 2008 candidates here unless it's about Romney. Plenty of attack and defense on him. Are all the others just that boring to talk about? Or does everyone now see him as the real frontrunner and so the spotlight is on everything he does?

Any reason you chose to post that in the only thread that's not about Romney?
