Labor Day Lineup
We at the Cooler are going to have a Labor Day weekend game that everyone can participate in. On Tuesday we're going to come out with a list of state legislators and who we think they will line up with in 08. Give us your best guesses in the comments or in the tipjar and we'll post them on Tuesday. Then everyone can tell us how stupid or how brilliant our projections are. So when you are out at the bar with your compatriots this weekend, pick their brain and see how many pairings you can come up with.
P.S. We're setting the over-under on Cox-Inman jokes at 13.
Have a restful and peaceful Labor Day, check back for some content over the weekend.

One thing I know for sure is that the pro-choice legislators are going to have a hard time choosing between fellow pro-choicers like Romney and Pataki.
Don't you mean Pataki and Giuliani?
Romney is pro-life!
And what about John McCain? All the way through the 2000 elections he said he doesn't support the repeal of Roe v. Wade.
Governor Romney does support the overturning of Roe v. Wade and would appoint judges that would do it, while John McCain and his so-called "gang of 14" moderates would determine if a nominee was "too extreme" on abortion.
Hey romney is pro-life. I'm new to this argument. Would you tell me where Romney stood on abortion when he ran against Ted Kennedy for Senate. How about when he ran for Governor?
Thanks.
Hey anon: would you tell me whether or not you want to limit membership in your little pro-life club only to those who held the position prior to 1972? Or do you possibly think that it's important for your cause that people evolve into a stronger commitment to life?
