The Cooler Mill
OK OK, so we didn't live up to our "Cooler Mill Friday" promise. Instead the "Cooler Mill" will be a recurring feature that comes around when we have rumors fit for posting.
Well we haven't confirmed this, but it sounds like America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani will be the featured speaker at the Reagan Dinner in Des Moines this fall. This is not the only reason that the buzz around the Cooler indicates Rudy's running.
But if he doesn't jump in soon, many of the prime fundraisers, strategists, and activists will be scooped up. It will be interesting to see how Rudy navigates that.

I may be the "contrarian" on this issue, but I'm not convinced that Rudy is running. Until he has staff on the ground in Iowa, its not a sure thing.

We've received a couple emails letting us know that this might be inaccurate. That's why it's in the rumor mill section.
I think they mean the featured speaker part.
He's running. Hell, he's "front"-running if you believe the Victory poll.
BR's right. It seems the Cooler might have got a bad tip on this one. We'll let you know if we can confirm either way.
Mayor Giuliani will not be the speaker for the Reagan Dinner. The Speaker will be unveiled when the time is right. The Lincoln Dinner was RPI's most successful dinner in history, breaking the record by 20K! When the speaker of the Reagan Dinner is unveiled - This will break all records!!!
