I would like to thank you for your support of the Frank Stallone campaign. Frank Stallone is happy you would sign on so early.

Frank Stallone will be holding a press conference today in Des Moines to announce yet another major endorsement. (none of this is true of course).

It appears as if Mitt Romney's wife will be endorsing Frank Stallone's candidacy. Several factors go into her decision:

1) Frank's classic Ronald Reagan Republicanism

2) his killer dance moves

3) his beautiful singing voice and hugely successful recording career

4) the fact that Mitt keeps trying to intrude on Frank Stallone's massive fundraisers (once setting a car on fire in the parking lot and firing a gun into the air).

5) Frank Stalone's oratory skills and charisma

6) she likes a champion

7) Frank Stallone is not a big Osmond fan

8) His tough stance on terror and immigration

9) his large wardrobe of parachute pants

Due to the Mormon heritage and Mitt's deep, deep, deep devotion to it, he sleeps in a separate bed and room from his wives. That's right, wives. She is unsure just how many he has.

Frank Stallone raised another $850,000 from Iowa donors last night while in Iowa City.

Cooler,
Governor Romney will be in Onawa at 2 p.m., not 3 p.m.

The Mid-America Center is located at One Arena Way. The B&B Roundup is at 801 Iowa Ave.

If someone would like to attend and meet Governor Romney at either event, they can call me at 888-722-4704 ext. 200.

Thank you!
Nicole Schlinger

PS - Frank Stallone, when will you be in Brooklyn?

Council Bluffs has become a Romney stronghold. There should be at least 375 at the lunch event tomorrow.

Someone from the Romney team told me today they are planning to have over 700 at the Council Bluffs event.

Keep up the good work Nicole!

Steve Cates told me to expect a breakout number in CB. Apparently the Romney staff has gone all hands on deck with this one.

It's almost April - these events will start to become make-or-break for the candidates very soon. Look for a couple good events from Romney events tomorrow.

the problem for Mitt Romney is that even if he gets 700 people in Council Bluffs, statewide media will still not cover the event.

3:01 PM

BVP said that NW IA should have about 1000 people for all three events.

BVP didn't tell you that Huckaberry is using this to run for senate. (any monies collected are transferable)

What is BVP? Huck's running for Prez moron!

I just called to RSVP and was on hold for an hour because they had so many calls coming in. The person who answered said that Romney has more than 9,500 people RSVP'd and they are thinking about moving it to the high school football stadium.

3:54 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

I heard that the stadium might not even be enough because Romney has had over 12,000 people RSVP!

4:58 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

I heard that because so many people are taking the day off work, anticipating long lines at the event, that the mayor has declared it Mitt Romney Day in Council Bluffs and has given a holiday to everyone there. Further, I hear they had to purchase an Omaha grocery store just to have enough food for everyone. Oh man, there's something big going on with this campaign, folks.

5:06 PM

12,000 people! I will be outside handing out my article in the Perry Chief.

My God, he'll need the Superdome before long!

5:14 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Actually, I heard that the Romney staff has given up on trying to get people to attend the event and has instead decided to blog.

5:25 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Romney wants this to be bigger than anything Obama has ever done. He needs to kill off both McCain and Brownback with this.

7:09 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Hey there's a $500 check just for attending!!! Well maybe $50. that is what I was paid!

7:10 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Why would anybody give that hack money?

8:22 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

I hear that Romney only has 39 reservations - mostly paid staff.

Strange......oh well, Romney has money and can do whatever he wants with it.

This guy doesn't, but actually believes in something unlike Flip.
