Cooler Update
Coolerites,
The nasty storm has rendered Cooler HQ without internet and earlier without electricity. We apologize for the pause in posting. We have a whole array of things for you below, so grab a cup of coffee and get to it.
We'll be back in full force next week and even have a line-change in store for you.
Caucus Coolerisms
The Cooler Line
Mike Huckabee 10-9
Mitt Romney 3-1
Fred Thompson 9-1
John McCain 9-1
Rudy Giuliani 12-1
Ron Paul 12-1
Duncan Hunter 98-1
The Cooler line is an exclusive creation of Caucus Cooler and will be updated as the political environment changes.
It is an unscientific assessment of the Iowa Caucus (not the Presidential race as a whole) from an insiders view at the given time. The line IS NOW mathematically accurate but is NOT intended for gambling purposes. Information may only be reproduced with credit to the Caucus Cooler.

Phew...
I thought BR was going to start crying if he didn't get lil' Mitt's post showing that his baby boy won the CPAC poll.
Oh, by the way, Romney paid his supporters to be at CPAC.
first, i'm a mccain guy.
second so what if mitt paid people to be at cpac to vote in the straw poll.
Straw polls are a test of organizational strength and show who has the most muscle whether through money or good ol support. btw most people don't show up who support somebody else even if they would be paid.
third, a straw poll is not a test of popular suppport.

Straw polls are freaking shams.
Staw polls are very useful as tests of organizational strength and popularity.
A failure to participate is usually bad for those who don't participate in well accepted straw polls, in and of itself evidence of their importance and value.
Are they the only determinant of a nominee, of course not, but they are a good and useful test of a campaigns ability to function in an evironment that it doesn't control.
Anyone going to see Steve Rathje make his announcement for Senate? This guy may be just what we need to beat Harkin, once and for all.
Would it even be possible to beat Harkin?
