McCain Begins Preliminary WH Run

Not suprising to any of us in Iowa. But it's the banner headline on Drudge. McCain to Run.

I think that after Tuesday it has become very apparent that McCain is our only chance to retain the Whitehouse in '08.

I'm resigned to that. At least McCain will sweep in many House and Senate members.

Yes, I agree. Only a senator who has voted with Ted Kennedy on immigration, Kyoto, No Child Left Behind, and against the Bush tax cuts can ever hope to beat Hillary Clinton. It's going to be good to have a CHOICE this time.

Let's see....He and President Bush agree about immigration . . .and those like J.D. Hayworth and Rick Santorum who ran against the Bush proposal lost . . . he opposes and voted against Kyoto, but does acknowledge there is indeed climate change . . .he did support President Bush on No Child Left Behind, etc...fool.

McCain would have been out on his ass with the rest of them if he had been up for re-election.

We need some one from the outside. HUckabee is my pick but there maybe another person out there.

Let me see here...He, McCain, has an over 70 percent approval rating in Arizona . . . you're entitled to opinions, but not facts...I too am for Huckabee, but I'm realistic.

And what does the 70% approval rating in AZ mean, exactly? Hillary won by 67% this week. So what? We'll give you this - McCain could carry Arizona in the General election.

People love this guy because he's all they see in the media (some of whom still have a schoolgirl's crush on him.) The activists who actually will vote in the caucus and in the early primary states DO NOT like this Kennedy clone.
