Tom Tancredo is running ads on the Randy Renshaw show that is all about…IMMIGRATION (surprise). The most interesting part, “John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, and Mitt Romney all support amnesty.” Slam.

Also Fred Thompson is clearly thinking about running. Why else would you make an announcement about your lymphoma?

McCain on Iraq

John McCain's recent trip to Iraq has received a ton of press coverage. Initial media reports were very critical of McCain. McCain struck back with an editorial in the Washington Post yesterday and made an appearance on "60 Minutes" last night. Later this week, McCain will give a speech on Iraq at Virginia Military Institute.

McCain's candidacy is more closely linked to Iraq than any other candidate in the Presidential race. It will be very interesting to see how his speech is received this week.
